BoldrDash WinterDash will be held at Canonicus Camp and Conference Center in Exeter Rhode Island on March 4, 2017. With over 300 acres of land to carve wooded trails surrounding the 22 acre pond this is a truly majestic setting for any event.
The BoldrDash build team will be hard at work throughout the fall and winter months cutting new trails that boast incredible views, rock formations and waterfront running. The newer trails will offer technical running in addition to the more established trails, off road access trails and open fields.
Over 20 man-made obstacles will be brought in to enhance the experience. Some examples of obstacles from 2016 are:
- Suspended Monkey Bars,
- Rope Climbing
- Rope swinging
- Heavy Carries,
- Deceptively difficult Tire Hurdles
- The famous Boldr Run
The course will be approximately 5K in length and boasts an outdoor fire pit right on the course. Multiple laps of the course can be done for an additional fee on event day. In between laps runners can warm up inside at the conference center and enjoy a free cup of hot chocolate!
The video below will give you a taste of what you can expect.
This is a fundraising event for the Find Your Bold Organization of Rhode Island FYBold.org and runners are encouraged to create/join fundraising pages when they register.
Spectators are welcome. (fees may apply).
