DJ Principe Smashes Course Record On His Way To A 3rd State Title

LaSalle Academy stand-out, DJ Principe,  smashed his own course record on his was to his third consecutive Rhode Island State XC Championship,  while leading his team to their third straight team victory.

DJ has made the Ponaganset course his own during his time in high school, capping off a trophy-laden high school career with today’s win.

DJ’s record is:

  • Freshman: 4th place in 15:56
  • Sophomore: 1st place in 15:37
  • Junior: 1st place in 15:09
  • Senior: 1st place in 14:56

DJ will be representing Rhode Island on this course, next week,  at the New England championship race.

Upon graduating next year, DJ will continue his academic and athletic career at Stanford University in California.
